The serial killer is behind bars. But the murders are just beginning…
DC Maggie Jamieson’s past comes back to haunt her in this dark and gripping serial killer thriller.
Three missing women running out of time…
They were abducted years ago. Notorious serial killer Bill Raven admitted to killing them and was sentenced to life.
The case was closed – at least DC Maggie Jamieson thought it was…
But now one of them has been found, dismembered and dumped in a bin bag in town.
Forensics reveal that she died just two days ago, when Raven was behind bars, so Maggie has a second killer to find.
Because even if the other missing women are still alive, one thing’s for certain: they don’t have long left to live…
Read that blurb again.
If that doesn’t make you want to read it, I don’t know what will.
I was thrilled to sign up to this tour, as I loved Dead Inside, the first in the Maggie Jamieson series.
Firstly, what a plot. The premise of the book is fantastic and very well executed. There were twists and turns aplenty and everything led to a wonderful ending. I say wonderful, but I didn’t want it to end. I’m so ready for book 3!
What I very much enjoyed was the range of characters. My liking of Maggie was added to and my dislike for The Raven was immediate. The other cast of characters were very well written. Noelle has a real skill in writing believable characters who you are really able to form an opinion of.
As well as the case, I enjoyed the storyline with her brother. I think time away from the case is important as it shows another side to the characters. Noelle’s past experience really helps her to craft these damaged characters who you can’t get enough of.
I’ve struggled to write this and now give away any spoilers. Noelle is a real talent and has created a fascinating, interesting story that I couldn’t get through fast enough! Please go grab a copy and see for yourself!
